As appealing as these two candidates are . . . I'm going to write in, "Soapy the Chicken."
I'd vote for Salty, personally...
So is there a democratically controlled bird now, or what?!?!
Eh, Soapy in her current state couldn't do too much damage, but people might not be able to look up to a dead chicken. We need a magician to ressurect Soapy. (not to mention, salty is evil)
Not to be too much of a jerk, but Soapy the Chicken is a cartoon character and Steven can bring her back to life with a wave of the pen.
One could say it's Earth 2 Soapy, if one needs an excuse.
But I don't care if there is an explanation. If new Soapy strips start appearing with Soapy alive and no mention of her death, I would say, huh, and happily read them.
If it turns out that Soapy can now talk, cool.
If Soapy now has a body and wears cowboy boots, sounds good.
Anything goes.
The story is whatever Steven says it is.
I'm rooting for you, Soapy the Chicken.
